> Thank you, #Microsoft, for sharing how many #Google services are looming in the #Chrome/#Chromium browser. I hope all projects that use Chromium take note and also start removing these. (slide was presented at BlinkOn conference)
But mostly I ignore all that and just do whatever #pixel_dailies tells me :P

Someone managed to do a processor replacement in an iMac G4, bringing it to 2Ghz.
That's not quite as simple as it sounds, by the way.
I'm trying something new. An experiment, if you will.
Would you like to become an #OpenBSD port MAINTAINER but don't know where to start?
I have five ports ready to go. They are at the bottom of the link below. All you have to is add yourself as MAINTAINER, roll the directory into a tarball, and submit it to the ports@ mailing list.
Writing new ports can be tricky. Maintaining fully formed ports can be a nice way to learn how everything works and ease into things.
After many months of procrastination and false starts, I finally completed a first pass at a painting for one of our conference rooms at work (they’re all named after Star Wars characters because we are big nerds). The final product will be traditionally painted, likely with gouache and airbrush, but I’m going to put up a print of this first and see how it looks! #mastoart #creativetoots #wip #digitalart

Ok, so looking for specific and serious answers on this topic only:
I need to replace my laptop.
I want something like a high-range Dell Inspiron.
What make/models are similar to _high_ range inspirons?
I will be dual-booting a small Win 10 partition to use some very niche stuff like expensive quilting software I already own and Linux Mint for most of my use.
I want decent processing, etc.
No, not a Mac. Yes I need Windows 10 a wee bit.
Please boost, please reply in good faith thanks!
